THE RAZOR’S EDGE

On September 30, 2016 Lou Brutus made his first ever trip to Green Bay, WI to co-host Edge Fest 2016 with his fellow rockers from Razor 94.7. After a visit to Lambeau Field to pay respects to Vince Lombardi it was over to The Sandlot to interview and photograph Sevendust, Nonpoint, Crobot, Like A Storm, Wilson, and Twelve Foot Ninja. Highlights of the night for LB were bringing Crobot onstage by performing a special rap with the band as well as a heartfelt intro for his friends in Sevendust. Following the show, Lou hopped on the Sevendust bus to hitch a ride to Sonic Boom. Many thanks to those of you in the Green Bay and Appleton area for all the love.

HELL POP’S-A-POPPIN’

Brutus returned to Shiley Acres, WV to co-host The Hell Pop Tour 2016 with In This Moment, Hellyeah, Shaman’s Harvest, Sunflower Dead, Bleeding Back and Silence the Mind. It was his first trip back to the area since a Hellyeah stop there back in 2014. Major props to the crew at 101.5 Bob Rocks for bringing LB in for the show. Thanks also to Rob Fortenberry Photography for capturing images of Lou on and offstage. Finally, love to the music fans who showed up and set the record for the biggest show ever in the venue’s history.

ME AND BILL MURRAY

Lou Brutus has released “Me and Bill Murray,” the true-to-life musical tale of a chance meeting in New York City with Bill Murray. It leads to a night of madness, wisdom, and french fry pilfering.

Of the song LB says, “Meeting Bill Murray is like seeing a UFO. If you tell people about what happened, they’ll think you’re a crackpot. Bill lets you know to expect that, so it’s all good. I just want to tell the story. Whether or not listeners believe it happened to me or not is totally up to them. It just doesn’t matter, it just doesn’t matter, it just doesn’t matter.”

Tell your own Bill Murray story online using #MeAndBillMurray. The best will receive cue cards from the video shoot.
